Chemical Process Engineer

We are currently looking for a Chemical Process Engineer with strengths in membrane processes to join our Engineering team. This role will be primarily focused on membrane trials, equipment specification, report writing, plant construction, and commissioning.  There will be some computer-based work, but mostly hands-on construction and testing work.  You must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for technical issues or be resourceful and independent to research and propose suitable solutions via various investigation means.  You must be prepared to travel nationally and internationally to client sites for extended periods of time.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Chemical Engineering degree with 2-3 years' experience in an industrial environment.
  • Software experience: AUTOCAD and any other chemical engineering software, such as Star CCM+ is an advantage.
  • Experience in:
    • RO/NF field.
    • Drafting PFDs, P&IDs, and providing equipment specifications is critical.
    • HAZOP, FEED, RFQ, and RFI.
    • Lean Engineering principles.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • A passionate R&D focus, critical thinking capability, and problem-solving.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and willing to learn in order to accommodate customers' needs and the company's deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent English written and oral communication skills for preparation and presentation of reports.
