Global industry extracts trillions of litres of water each day with very little ability to recycle and reuse this water. We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role will be part of the engineering team and will be responsible for the development and installation of electrical and control systems on process rigs and plants. This is primarily an office and workshop-based role, based out of our Airport Oaks facility. You will also be required to travel nationally and internationally to client sites for extended periods of time.
The Electrical Engineer will have accountability for electrical design, specification, development, assembly, and testing in areas of process and mechanical engineering for the purpose of advancing the company's technology and commercial success. You must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- An Engineering degree in the field of chemical engineering with at least 2 years' relevant work experience in a chemical process or water treatment industry.
- Experience in developing engineering and technical reports and proposals.
- Experience or strong knowledge of membrane processes would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strengths in organic and physical chemistry would be advantageous.
- Experience with basic laboratory equipment, wet chemistry, and laboratory procedures.
- Team player with excellent written and oral communication skills in English for the preparation and presentation of reports.
