We are currently seeking 2x Laboratory Technicians to join our team. The Laboratory Technician is a pivotal role responsible for supporting the Chemistry team for the purpose of advancing the company's technological and commercial success. This is primarily a lab-based role accountable for assisting with research experiments, testing commercial brines, and the analysis of samples using analytical instruments and laboratory equipment. This includes quality control in the laboratory for instruments, methods, and prepared chemicals. The Laboratory Technician works with the various chemistry teams and reports to the Chief Technical Officer and the relevant Team Leader.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree with 2+ years' experience as a laboratory technician.
  • Experience in analysing samples on analytical instruments and reporting results.
  • Experience in maintaining analytical instruments.
  • Ability to follow basic chemistry methods.
  • Proven ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Competent in Microsoft office suite.
  • Good time management and organisation skills.
  • Excellent written English and oral communication skills for the preparation and presentation of reports.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a propensity to learn.
